THE TRUMAN BREWERY, BRICK LANE, LONDON. 28 - 29 OCTOBER 2016
Adrian and Salvatore packed their Knightor suitcase and took a field trip to London, where we were featured in the launch of The Epicurean, London's newest artisan drink and fine food festival.
Based on delivering an innovative tasting and buying experience, with discovery at its heart, The Epicurean deals in high-quality, limited production wine, beer, spirits and food that cannot be bought in UK supermarkets or high street outlets. Over 120 producers and importers of the finest products and leading specialist drinks and food businesses will showcase more than 1000 products, all of which were available to taste.
The perfect platform from which to promote Knightor's Vermouth.
Browse our cocktail recipes on the vermouth page for some inspiration.
Ross Carter, event director of both The Epicurean and The London Wine Fair, commented, “The interest in quality, hard to find or handcrafted drinks and food is significant, particularly in London and other urban centres. Beer and spirits have successfully engaged with consumers and fostered this growing desire for discovery. This desire for discovery also exists for wine, but until now it has been left behind when it comes to experiential events. By bringing together all of the categories, with the emphasis on wine, we have an opportunity to engage with the public in a way that the trade has talked about for some time.”
With free sampling right through the event, bar and street food vendors, I strongly recommend you register your interest for 2017 in this most decadent weekend!

Country weddings are the perfect choice for a couple that love the birds, the bees and the pretty trees!
If you are having a summer wedding, your venue choice is essential. For all you boho brides out there thinking of doing something a little different our vineyard at Portscatho could be the perfect spot with the vineyard barn overlooking the rolling hills down to the sea.
Embracing the English summer weather will make your wedding that 10 times better. Adding buckets with ice lollies or cosy blankets to your seats with fire pit areas outside will add that fun family atmosphere and also keep your guests toasty once night falls.
Having a wide open area is a great way of being creative, hanging flower buds and open picture frames from the tree branches to create a fun and quirky back drop for your photo booth or saving up all your old jam jars to make candle/flower holders really will add that airy county feel. At Knightor's barns you have plenty of space around the pond and arbour and a spare couple of fields perfect for games like welly wanging and egg and spoon races.
Although the setting, venue and dress is important, what’s more important is the reason you are getting married in the first place, who to, and creating memories to last a lifetime!
In conclusion, we are experts in countryside weddings and have the perfect venues to-boot. If you are still looking for somewhere to hold your big day and need a helping hand, please do contact one of our friendly team, we would love to help!

The incredibly delicious Cornish wine from Knightor Winery & Restaurant went down a storm at a packed private view of ' From Silence, Anima-Mundi at Herrick Gallery, Mayfair. Aside from the artwork on show, the wines really proved a star of the show. Delicate, and decidedly English, elderflower, apple and pear flavours graced our palettes and left us wanting more. The Vintage Cuvée was a particular hit- with its dry, elegant and complex flavour leaving people asking after the makers…the brilliant…Knightor. Flying the flag for Cornwall on Piccadilly that night; Knightor left its mark.
Joseph Clarke, Director of Anima-Mundi; ‘Knightor wines have a beautiful flavour and it is clear how much their producers care about what they do, I would highly recommend.’
'From Silence' opened on Monday at The Herrick Gallery, 93 Piccadilly, Mayfair to a full and enthusiastic house.
Thank you to those who attended and also to Knightor Winery for the excellent range of really delicious drinks served.
We rarely put on shows of this sort in London and it is only on until 5th November, so please do try and get along to see it in the flesh if you are able, its just a minute walk from Green Park Station.
"To be silent; to be alone. All the being and the doing, expansive, glittering, vocal, evaporated; and one shrunk, with a sense of solemnity, to being oneself,
a wedge-shaped ore of darkness, something invisible to others… and this self having shed its attachments was free for the strangest adventures.”
Virginia Woolf, To the Lighthouse
