How often can we visit the venue after booking?
As much as you like! We meet with all of our wedding couples at least six months prior to their wedding and at their final meeting 5 weeks prior to the wedding date. In between this time, we're here to help answer any questions. All meetings can be booked via [email protected].
What time can the bar be open from and until?
The bar opens an hour prior to your ceremony, ready to welcome your guests. For Monday-Thursday weddings the bar and venue closes at midnight, whereas on Saturdays we have a late licence until 1:00am.
Can we have live music or a DJ?
Yes! We allow music indoors until Midnight for weekday weddings, 1:00am for Saturday weddings and outdoors until 11:00pm.
Are you dog friendly?
Yes, we would love to have your dog join in with the celebrations. They're welcome onsite and within the accommodation.
What are your upfront costs?
To secure your wedding date we have the initial deposit (our different packages have different set rates) the remaining venue hire is then due six months prior to the wedding date and your final payment is due 5 weeks prior to the wedding date.
What accommodation do you have onsite?
We have our Honeymoon suite, the Manor House (sleeps 12) and three Shepherd Huts (sleep 2) onsite. The team can also provide our recommended local accommodation to all viewings. Campervans and camping options also available.
What time can we check into the accommodation?
Checking in is from 4:00pm and checking out at 11:00am. The weddings team will provide you with check in details at your final meeting.
Who can provide our ceremony?
We're a licensed wedding venue with four different options to choose from. The team can provide you the contact information of our local registrars or recommended celebrants. Not sure which to choose? At your viewing the weddings team will discuss the different options with you.
Is confetti allowed?
Yes! Biodegradable or natural confetti is allowed both indoors and outside.
