Gathered amongst the vines of our Portscatho vineyard, we welcomed friends of Knightor to The Vine for a night of fine food and frivolity. In a location set away from the bustling crowds, our new Cornish foodie destination has been created to embrace escapism and celebrate rustic dining. Championing the notion of smaller, sharing plates, the event consisted of big flavours, good conversation and competitive garden games all set against the coastal backdrop.  For those of you who are wanting to create a meaningful wedding day, full of lasting memories but feeling a little overwhelmed with the size of your guestlist. Have you considered holding an intimate wedding? This could be the answer to planning the wedding of your dreams but on a much smaller scale.
Holding a smaller celebration for your wedding day not only allows you to cherish those moments with your nearest and dearest but allows you to spend your budget in creating those memories in a way you can both enjoy with these guests. Here at Knightor Winery not only do we offer our exclusive venue hire weddings (Monday through Saturday), but Mondays through Wednesdays we also open up the venue for our elopement or ‘ceremony only’ package wedding days. You maybe have expected the winery has been closed during this 'lockdown'. That we have put our pipettes, hoses and glasses down and will come back once it’s all returned to normal. Certainly, all the restaurants and bars that serve our wines, from Nathan Outlaws on the North coast in Doc Martin country to Wreckers and The Longstore in Charlestown near us are closed, as well as having to shutter our cellar door to visitors.

Please note Knightor is a working winery and old farmstead so there are areas of rough ground, uneven levels and steps and thresholds to be negotiated. Visitors and guests need to wear appropriate footwear and take extra care.
