A haze of green is starting to dance across the landscape to the tune of sea-salt infused air at both of our South West vineyards, ahead of a busy season. With summer firmly on the horizon, vineyards across the country are beginning to emerge from their hibernation as we welcome the arrival of English Wine Week. From the 18th to the 26th of June, we will be rejoicing in the festivities and celebrating the very best of English wine. Featuring all of the best sellers from our sparkling and still collections, including the crisp Carpe Diem White and the elegant Vintage Cuvée, join us at Knightor to mark the occasion. Whether you are looking to toast Father’s Day or bask in the return of Midsummer’s Day, do so with a glass of your favourite Knightor tipple in hand. If you are torn between a variety, immerse yourself in a Knightor wine tour and tasting experience onsite at the winery and take your palette on an adventure. Running every Sunday until October, start with a guided walk through the display vines, discussing the varieties grown in this country and looking at why England has seen a significant increase in the number of people making wine. You will also delve into the realms of overseas wines, exploring different regions across the world. This is followed by a peek into the winery for a brief introduction to how wine is made, then finishes with a tasting that shows the light touch and elegance that is an inherent quality of the finest English wines. Tickets are priced at £20 per person and for more information please visit our shop here.
